Margo

Owner - Samantha

Firstly, I'd highly recommend this rehabilitation centre!

Here's why... 3 months ago my 8 year old longdog girl was crying whilst getting up from lieing down. After a couple of vet visits and xrays it was determined she had muscle damage in her neck and left shoulder (from being hit by a car, as a pup, before I got her) She was also disgusting with spondylosis in her lower spine (although this isn't currently causing any issues). Margo's coat pattern had changed significantly down her neck indicating pain and she'd lost a lot of muscle from her rear right thigh indicating her weight bearing was very "off". After only 6 hydrotherapy sessions with the very knowledgeable team Margo is a new dog!! Readings taken on her first session showed huge differences between her weight bearing, stride length and height in her limbs. By her 6th session these same readings showed great balance between all 4 limbs! I can clearly see my dog is a different girl these days but regardless of what I'm witnessing at home the readings speak for themselves! Couldn't recommend these guys highly enough. We will be continuing once a month going forward to keep Margo supple and happy.

Ps Margo is very precious of herself and tends to be allergic to water (LOL) BUT when she arrives into the carpark she can't get inside quickly enough to start her sessions so don't be worrying about the whole water bit

Charlie

Owner - Rachel

Charlie is absolutely loving his rehabilitation journey, and we’re so grateful for all the support The Suddy Dog Team has given him. They have taken such great care of Charlie, and it has honestly been the best thing for him.

Stephen, Charis and Amanda are absolutely amazing — the love, care and kindness they show him means so much to us. He gets so excited every time he goes and runs straight in with his tail wagging!

Seeing how happy and comfortable he is says everything about the incredible team there. We honestly couldn’t recommend The Suddy Dog enough 🤍

Willow

Owner - Sandra

My 13yr old dog Willow had IVDD surgery in late March this year after badly herinating 2 discs in her neck she recovered well but needed a little extra TLC to get her back walking properly again. Caroline and Steven have worked wonders for her she is coming on leaps and bound with the help of phyiso and hydrotherapy they work as a team to ensure Willow gets the best of 1:1 therapy every time we visit. I am over the moon with Willows progress since attending Suddy Dog Rehab I can't thank you enough for the level of support, dedication and cuddles Willow has recieved along the way from both Caroline and Steven if I could give 10 stars I would!

Buzz

Owner - Rachel

I approached Stephen back in January 26 this year after my 8 year old boxer baby Buzz was diagnosed with severe spondylosis of the spine.  He was incredibly wobbly, his hind legs were weakened and he was in a fair amount of pain, which was being controlled with high doses of Gabapentin.  After talking to several people whose fur babies had great results with hydrotherapy, I wanted Buzz to give it a go.  Stephen gave Buzz an initial assessment and started him off very gently.  Buzz has been having sessions weekly since then and I’ve been astounded by his progress! He shows no sign of pain, he’s much stronger in his hind legs and he has bouts of running around like a puppy again, which is amazing to see.  Hydrotherapy won’t cure him but it’s absolutely given him a new lease of life and he LOVES Stephen and Amanda! Buzz has come every long way since his first session and he’s now going only twice a month to ‘maintain’ his new found strength.  I heartily recommend Stephen and Amanda.  They truly care about each and every fur baby they work with.  I’m so glad I found them and I know Buzz would say the same!
